Muslims Around the World Dreaming of Christ

Joel Rosenberg says in his blog,

“From 1960 to 2010, the number of Muslims that have converted to faith in Jesus Christ has grown from fewer than 200,000 to some 10 million people.”

Michael Carl of WND writes about the rising number of Muslims experiencing dreams of Christ.

  • A Bosnian Muslim teenager named Emina Emionic dreamed he was in a desert and a cross rose up out of the sand. He felt himself moving toward it, suddenly seeing Christ walking toward him.  Christ touched his face with His right hand.
  • A Saudi man dreamed of being taken to hell. He saw Jesus who said, “Son, I am the way, the truth, and the life. If you would give your life to me and follow me, I would save you from the hell you have seen.”
  • Muslims in Thailand, and other countries are experiencing dreams and visions of Christ, converting to Christianity. They then face great persecution from their loved ones and even death for their faith in Christ.

Mark Ellis of “God Reports” writes,

“Jesus appears to bedridden Muslim mom, brings healing and salvation to family.”

Fadila was raised in a devout Muslim family in the Middle East, one of eight children. Her father – who farmed a date plantation — also had a second wife who bore four children.

As a young woman, Fadila dedicated herself to the practices of Islam every day. “I was always wearing the abaya, which is a large, black cloak wrapped around the body. And I regularly followed ‘Namus’ (ritual prayers of Islam five times a day), 30 days fasting at the month of Ramadan, and giving to the poor.”

One of her brothers fell in with the wrong crowd and became an alcoholic and drug addict, which was forbidden by their religion. He became violent and pressured family members and friends for money to support his habit.

“We lost our peace,” Fadila recalls. “We prayed and prayed for a change of my brother and peace at home, but we got no answer.”

Partly due to the stress, Fadila’s mother got sick. “Her condition became worse day by day. She consulted with many doctors.” No one could diagnose her illness.

Then something worse happened, she suffered a stroke and became completely bedridden.

“One day my other brother brought two men into my house. My brother introduced them and said they are men of God and have gifts of healing. If they pray for our mother, she may be healed.”

The two men began to pray, but Fadila felt uncomfortable, because they were using Jesus’ name in the prayers.

Fadila suddenly realized these were Christian pastors. “I became angry with them. I shouted at them to get lost from my house.”

But in the midst of her outburst, something unexpected happened.

Fadila’s mother began to get up from the bed!

“We helped her and she sat erect and then stood on the floor,” to everyone’s complete amazement.

“While he was praying,” Fadila’s mother said, “I saw Jesus Christ and He touched me with His nail-pierced hands. At once, something went away from my body and a light covered me and I felt total healing.”

Suddenly Fadila felt remorse for the way she treated the two pastors and asked them to pardon her behavior. Then she asked them to pray for her alcoholic brother.

The pastors began to pray over her brother. “He sat on the floor at the feet of the pastors and cried. He promised that he would leave all of his bad habits. He confessed his sins. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. And we saw an unspeakable joy and peace in his face.”

One of the pastors told the family he is a Christian convert from Islam. He shared his testimony and conveyed the message of the Gospel. He explained that Jesus Christ was crucified, died, and rose from the dead for all of our sins, to give us eternal life.

“My mother said she believes,” Fadila says. “I too declared my faith in Jesus. My other brothers and sisters also believed.”

One of the pastors, affiliated with bibles4mideast, took a Bible from his bag and gave it to the family.

“All these things provoked my step mother and her children,” Fadila notes. “Sometimes they are threatening us that they will inform on us about our religion. If so, certainly we will have to face persecutions.”

“Though my father believes in Jesus Christ, he keeps quiet due to the influence of my step mother. We pray for all of them to be saved.”

“We read and meditate on the Bible every day. And very secretly we are attending prayer and worship services held by bibles4mideast. Please pray for us.”

Christine Darg of “Exploits Ministry” writes,

“The phenomenon of Muslims coming to a living faith in Jesus is happening every day. This is part of the prophecy of the prophet Joel that in the last days God will pour out his spirit upon all people – sons and daughters will prophesy, young and old men will experience dreams and visions.”

Author and “Choices for Living” President Jim Bramlett, who has lived in Saudi Arabia, believes that the phenomenon of Muslims experiencing visions and dreams of Jesus is definitely “supernatural.”

“I believe He’s sovereignly pouring out His presence to the Muslim people. It’s a product of His grace. He sent His Son to die for them and He loves them. This is one of His ways of communicating His love to them.”

Muslims are not all radical. Many are sincere in their search for God. They faithfully follow the teachings of their Koran.

Their worldview is strongly influenced by an awareness of the supernatural, with the presence of good and evil spirits, known as jinn. Jinn are greatly feared and believed to be responsible for illness and misfortune.

We as Christians need to pray for Muslims to know Jesus Christ as the truth, the way, and the life.

  • We need to pray that God desires everyone to know Him as children and not as slaves.
  • We need to pray that the Holy Spirit convicts them of sin and brings them to repentance.
  • We need to pray that God removes their fear of evil spirits and allows them to have faith in Christ.
  • We need to pray that God continues to visit them in dreams and visions as the only way to the Father.

One missionary named Daniel walked into a tent with 8 people inside.

“Hi, I’m Daniel. I am here to tell you about Jesus.”

The family started shouting at each other. Finally the interpreter explained that the whole family had been sitting in their tent having tea, when a man dressed in white and glowing, stood in their tent door.

“Hello, my Name is Jesus and I am sending a man tomorrow named Daniel to tell you more about me.” He then disappeared.

Daniel’s visit resulted in the whole family giving their hearts to Christ.

We in America discount visions and dreams.

The Middle East lives by visions and dreams.

Maybe if we were more aware of the spiritual world around us, we might also experience what the Muslims are experiencing with their Lord.

Jesus taught us to “watch” as well as pray. Watch here means to stay alert to what is going on around you.

When you pray, we are surrounded by spiritual beings, good and evil.

  • The evil tries to distract you and get you to quit praying.
  • The good tries to encourage you to surrender your will unto the Holy Spirit who then can enable you to continue to pray in intercession.

Be still and know that I am God. While driving, walking, working, reading, resting in bed; stop, listen with your spirit-man. You may be surprised by a dream or a vision as promised by the prophet Joel.

The Book of Acts doesn’t have a benediction or a valediction. It is still being written in Heaven and in the hearts of people today, all around the world. You can be included in the final reading in heaven just by praying for the lost, including the Muslims.
