Israel and the Jewish people have been blamed for many things attempting to justify the persecution which is handed out to her for many generations now. As a people they have suffered horrendously even by the Christian church.
But did they really kill Jesus?
- The Roman soldiers drove the nails into his hands and feet.
- The Jewish Sanhedrin sentenced Him to death.
An interesting point was made by a Jewish Scholar. In order for there to be a murder, there has to be a dead body.
The Bible claims Jesus is alive.
If He is alive then there is no dead body and thus no murder. Millions around the world claim the very same thing. Jesus is alive in their hearts and many have seen visions and dreams of Him, while others have had Near Death Experiences where Jesus has communicated with them in heaven.
“Fear not; I am the first and the last, and the living one: and I became dead, and behold, I am living to the ages of ages, and have the keys of death and of hades.” Revelation 1:18
Jesus said that He laid down His own life and that He took His life up again. No one killed Him. There was no murder, no killer, for Jesus is alive and well.
“The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father” John 10:17-18
Many evil men have tried to wipe the Jewish people off the earth, and are still trying to do so today. Even Christians have tried to eliminate the Jews in the name of peace. The devil hates the Jewish people for they produced the Jewish Messiah who will cast him into the Lake of Fire in the near future. He will use whoever he can to do his dirty work of killing the Jewish people and the Nation of Israel.
Did you know Jesus will return to Israel, to Jerusalem?
Acts 1:11 says, “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!”
He ascended from Mt. Olives and He will return to Mt. Olives per Zechariah 14:4:
“On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south.”
There is no valley there now, but there will be when Jesus puts His feet down at His Second Coming. Then the Jews will finally recognize Him as their Messiah.
Jesus did not carry the cross because He wanted anyone to be blamed. He carried the cross to carry the sins of the World. He died on the cross in Jerusalem and rose again, so we all could get a chance to change our ways, believe in Him and live!
I am one of His witnesses. Jesus Christ is alive, and He loves me. He loves you. He loves the Jewish people. He loves the 7+ Billion people on this planet.
Now you know who Killed Jesus. I did. You did.
It was my sins and your sins that drove the nails into Jesus on the cross. Our sins and His love for you and me compelled Him to die in my place and in your place, to pay for my sins and for your sins.
“I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation.” Psalm 118:21
