Possible Sequence of Events to bring about Armageddon
The world is beginning to stagger like a drunk. Isaiah 24:20, “The earth reels to and fro like a drunkard, and it totters like a shack, for its transgression is heavy upon it, and it will fall and never rise again.”
As previously stated, the world is unstable in many different ways at this moment in time. The clock is ticking, so that even scientists are predicting a Doomsday. As we looked a little at the background on Israel, we saw that she is indeed the center of the world’s attention, and for good reason. There is a lot at stake as to the outcome of the Middle East Crisis, including the continued existence of America.
We have heard the rumors about the year 2012. The Mayan Calendar is supposedly running out, and with it, civilization. Many argue that this is just a misunderstanding about how to interpret the reading of the calendar; that in fact it just means the calendar will just start over. Or, does it mean that something significant will happen, say the beginning of events gearing up for the one world government and its one world leader?
Nostradamus has also made various predictions; from the French Revolution, World Wars I & II, the JFK assassination, 9-11, the New World Order, and the atomic bomb destruction.
Edgar Cayce predicted the stock market crash, WW I & II, the shifting of the earth’s poles, (which science says is happening), convergence of communications, the Essenes and the Dead Sea Scrolls (several years before they were discovered), and he also spoke of Armageddon and the destruction of the earth.
The Aztecs and the Incas also had their predictions about the last days.
Science speaks of asteroids and possible collision with the earth to eliminate life as it did the dinosaurs. They speak of the changes in the Sun and possible solar flares that could get through the protective barrier of the earth and destroy mankind, of Global Warming and the melting of ice caps. We worry about the pollution of our air, water, and food.
Then there is the advance of science where we kill babies by the thousands and use their parts for research. They play with genes and cells, even cloning, all in the name of Science. Of course, there are already many things experimented on our soldiers and mental patients. They are furthering our knowledge of how to treat disease. What happens when Dr. Killjoy decides to use this knowledge in an evil way? Is it possible that we have already created an antichrist to rule the world from a test tube, a Petri dish?
Technology that can recognize our facial features and match them to our manner of walk and behavior, robots that act like humans, and then the chip that has already been implanted in our animals, and will soon be in humans. The chip will contain everything about you, eliminating the need for credit cards and checks. No one will be able to steal your identity; and no one will get away with a crime ever again. Smile, you’re on camera. Your keystrokes are recorded. Everything is monitored.
Project Echelon uses spy satellites, wiretaps, and supercomputers to analyze billions of communications annually. This technology in the hands of a madman will be used for unintended and malevolent purposes.
I read a story recently about an African getting his first television set. He thought the people on the screen were rude because when he talked to them they did not answer him back! He thought they were inside the box. Maybe they are?
There have been many false prophets that have predicted the coming of Christ in a specific year. We have seen these years come and go. Will 2012 be the same?
One thing we forget by relegating the Bible to the category of fairy tales and myths is that there are over 300 prophecies that Jesus Christ has fulfilled. These were foretold hundreds and thousands of years before Christ was born.

A number of years ago, Peter W. Stoner and Robert C. Newman wrote a book entitled Science Speaks. The book was based on the science of probability and vouched for by the American Scientific Affiliation. It set out the odds of any one man in all of history fulfilling even only eight of the 60 major prophecies (and 270 ramifications) fulfilled by the life of Christ.
The probability that Jesus of Nazareth could have fulfilled even eight such prophecies would be only 1 in 1017. That’s 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000.
Stoner claims that that many silver dollars would be enough to cover the face of the entire state of Texas two feet deep. Now I’ve been to Texas. Texas is a very big state. Who in his right mind would suppose that a blindfolded man, heading out of Dallas by foot in any direction, would be able, on his very first attempt, to pick up one specifically marked silver dollar out of 100,000,000,000,000,000?
They also forget what Jesus said in Matthew 24:16, “But of that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son of Man, but the Father only.”
Why, then, are there so many predictions about Armageddon? Man is curious and wants to know about the unknown. Coupled with what he does know from these sources, he speculates and thus misses the mark.
The bottom line is . . . no one knows the day or the hour. However, Jesus and many of the writers of the Bible did give us ‘Signs’ that would point to that day.
The purpose in giving us signs is to make us aware that these things could happen at any time, and we need to make sure that our heart and soul are ready to stand in eternity. Jesus said no man sets out to build a tower, or goes to war, without sitting down first to count the cost. He then laid out the plans and studied them before he started the actual construction, or battle. Luke, chapter fourteen.
Do we see this anywhere today? Not in our congress, not in the world. Our nation is in debt at the tune of almost 16 trillion. Most countries around the world are in the same straits.
What if the tower is the revived tower of Babel? What if the war is for control of the world? What if there is something calling for a New World Order? What if the normal balancing of the checkbook does not apply for this NWO? How do you go about putting a one-world currency in place?
Islam:
Did you know that Islam also calls for an Armageddon? A Messiah, the Mahdi? In addition, they believe in an antichrist! Islam is believed by 1/5 of the world’s population and is growing at the rate of 25,000 new adherents each day. What happens when the tide changes and we find the world dominated by the radical side of Islam? It is something to seek the answer to, as they believe that they are to help bring Armageddon about through a war all on infidels, in a Holy Jihad! Infidels are all who do not believe their teachings.
New World Order:
NWO, the term was first used by Woodrow Wilson in his Fourteen Points, and his call for the League of Nations following the devastation of WWI. Others referred to NWO with the United Nations. Then after the Cold War ended, both Gorbachev and Bush used this term to describe a global spirit of cooperation among the super powers of the world. Then the European New World Economic Order came into existence, and is still struggling today. Then we had the World Trade Tower bombings and the new focus on terrorism, which even with the death of Bin Laden, the Taliban continues to threaten the world. Then the collapse of our economy, which in turn spread ripples around the world, exacerbating the already strained economies of these countries.

Daniel 9:24-27 NSAB
Seventy Weeks and the Messiah
24 “Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place. 25 So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress. 26 Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined. 27 And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”
Daniel speaks of an individual who will set an ‘Abomination’ in the temple and cause the whole world to worship him for 3 ½ years. This will be an image of himself.
Jesus speaks of the same things in Matthew, chapter 24.
24: Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him. 2 And He said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”
3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. 8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. 10 At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12 Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. 14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Perilous Times
15 “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. 17 Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in his house. 18 Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. 22 Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. 23 Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘here He is,’ do not believe him. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. 25 Behold, I have told you in advance. 26 So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. 27 For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.
The Glorious Return
29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
Parable of the Fig Tree
32 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; 33 so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 37 For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
Be Ready for His Coming
42 “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. 43 But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. 44 For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
45 “Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes. 47 Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But if that evil slave says in his heart, ‘My master is not coming for a long time,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards; 50 the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour which he does not know, 51 and will cut him in pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
From these two references of scripture, we see that Jesus, and Daniel are speaking the same about the events that will take place. John in the Book of Revelation agrees. Daniel lived during the Babylonian Captivity in late 500 BC. Jesus lived from 4 BC until around 33 AD. John died around 100 AD. Daniel did not know Jesus or John. John was a disciple of Jesus and wrote the Gospel of John and I, II, & III John.
John was exiled on the isle of Patmos because he was sentenced by the Emperor Domitian. John received this revelation and wrote the book.
From these scriptures we see that there are to be many signs, but the thing that is consistent is that they all speak of a one-world ruler who demands that everyone worships him. Daniel goes into great detail about the world kingdoms up until this time.
The fourth beast that Daniel saw was a revived form of the Roman Empire. Many believe this is the attempt of the European Union. Daniel also saw that this fourth beast has ten crowns or kings. Out of these ten, arose three. Then out of these three arose one king unlike any before him to rule the world. This is the scenario that John is describing in Revelation chapter 13.
The Beasts or kings arise from the sea of the world’s humanity. Out of these ten, one is fiercer than the others and demands that everyone worships him by setting up his image, the Abomination of Desolation, in the temple, and blasphemes God. Those who refuse to take his Mark as a sign of allegiance to him, will be killed. The antichrist even has another beast that arises who will help enforce that the world worships the first beast. This time period will be the first 3 ½ years under the control of the Antichrist.
This Mark of the Beast, 666, will be necessary to be able to buy or sell, in other words, to be able to not starve to death, or be killed.
Daniel also spoke of 70 weeks determined upon the nation of Israel. The meaning of the Hebrew for weeks is weeks of years, so when he says 70 weeks, he is saying 7 times 70 or 490 years.
From the decree to rebuild the temple in 445 BC to the crucifixion of Christ was 69 weeks or 483 years. This means that there is still 7 years left to be fulfilled, and this is referred to as Daniel’s Seventh Week. It will be fulfilled during the last 7 years of the Tribulation.
Daniel says that during the first 3 ½ years the antichrist or tenth king will come in peace and with flatteries, speaking very great things. Then in the second 3 ½ years he will turn into the Beast and try to rule the whole world with technology, and force.
Paul says in I Thessalonians 5:3 that while they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.
This is the same language that Jesus used in Matthew 24, as stated above.
Paul also tells us in Romans 11:25, “For I would not, brethren that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.”
Paul says in Romans 11:26 that all Israel will be saved.
Jesus said they would not receive Himself, coming in His Father’s name, but when another comes in his own name, him they would receive.
When the antichrist appears, he comes as a man of Peace, and then turns into the Beast who will receive his power from the Dragon.
Dragon is one of the many names of Satan in scripture. Type in ‘names of Satan’ sometime on the web and see all the negative aspects of this evil one.
Jesus said that He had come to give life and that more abundantly, but that Satan had come to steal, kill and destroy.
Watch the news, watch the bad sections of a town. What do you see? Deterioration, and destruction. If you hang around too long, you will see death. What do the serious evil men do in our society? There is coming one evil man that will make all other evil men look like saints.
The Stage:
The stage is set for the last scene. Technology is in place. Laws are in place with the Patriot Act and others. (You need to watch the movie Rendition) Economics are in shambles. Crime is in every level of society, creating a total lack of trust in our leaders. Church attendance is down, as people are disillusioned with the politics and rules of belonging. Rules don’t apply if we don’t want them to, thanks to the influx of New Age teachings. The Occult is accepted as a norm. People who appear normal as your next-door neighbor are committing horrific crimes of evil. You can be mugged or kidnapped going for a sandwich. You can be shot sitting on your porch. You can be killed by letting someone into your door, who said they were with a legitimate organization. You can get a virus on your computer by looking for the news. Your privacy is being compromised on a daily basis, and many times by the businesses that you deal with. There is a total lack of respect for life and the rights of others. We kill babies by the thousands. We practice all kinds of immorality to the excess. AIDS is epidemic. Cancer is epidemic. Our food is full of chemicals. Our water is unsafe even after it is treated. Our trash is taking over the world. We are depleting our resources. Our military is stretched beyond reason around the world. Children and women are abused. Addictions to illegal drugs are out of control. The good of the country is replaced by the good of our politicians. Homelessness, drought, forest fires, tsunamis, violent weather. The list goes on and on and on.
The stage is set for something drastic to happen. How easy would it be for the right man to step onto the stage and speak the right words, laying out the right plan, that the world would say, “Where in the hell, have you been?” and they wouldn’t even know that is exactly where he has been!
Events predicted to take place, not necessarily in order:
Rapture:
Paul speaks in I Corinthians 15 and in I Thessalonians 4, that Jesus would return to ‘Snatch Up’ or rapture his believers from this world. He goes on to say that we are not appointed unto wrath, but to obtain salvation through Jesus Christ.
The angels say the same thing in the book of Acts chapter one, that Jesus would return in the clouds as you saw Him go away.
In the first few chapters of the book of Revelation Jesus speaks to seven different churches. The church of Laodicea was neither hot nor cold. Many believe that this is the church of today’s age. In the early 1900s people were fervent Christians, often spending hours in Bible reading and prayer and fasting. Today there are so many attractions distracting us from God, that we have just settled on going through the motions, thus you see the decrease in commitment to a church.
There are around 350,000 congregations in America. Only 20% of the population says they attend church on a regular basis according to a poll from Hartford Institute.
There are three views about the Rapture as to when it will take place. 1- before the tribulation starts. 2- in the middle of the tribulation. 3- after the tribulation ends.
Most tend to lean toward the first view. I used to do the same, based on the scripture that God has not appointed us to wrath. However, as I view the luke warmness of churches today, and the fact that they have become more of a business than a soul-saving station, I tend to lean toward the second view, but not necessarily at the exact middle of the tribulation.
I do not personally believe that there are that many people out there who are seeking God enough, close to God enough to be ready for any Rapture. I think we need something to happen to shake us out of our complacency first. I hope that I am wrong and I am praying daily that my sins are forgiven and that those of my loved ones are covered, and that God has mercy on America and His people around the world. However, if I am not wrong, then I think that we are going to see some things worse than 9-11 to get our attention.
Do you remember how nice everyone becomes at Christmas time, when we focus on giving to others? Do you remember how everyone was a little more serious about eternal things after watching 9-11 on television? I think we soon lost that humility, going right back to our self-seeking ways, absorbed by the media grabbers, shoving eternal things into the closet.
Whenever the Rapture takes place, think about how many people will disappear. There are 2.5 billion Christians today around the world. Let’s say 10% of them would be ready for the Rapture. That would be around 225 million people disappearing. If the majority of these are living in the United States, think of the interruption that would take place in industry and the effects on the economy. Airplanes, trains, trucks, cars, ships, etc. would be left without a driver/pilot/captain. Traffic would be tied up for days, maybe months. Hospitals would be affected, as well as banks and various establishments, including the military. Chaos with communications, transportation, commerce and the military; all would have to reorganize.
The Rapture at the very least would create a void that someone somewhere could take advantage of. Regardless of when the Rapture takes place, at the before, during, or after, it is going to be a major disruption around the world.
Rise of One World Government:
The European Union started in 1951 as a regional economic agreement between six countries. Is has grown to 27 members today.
The Council on Foreign Relations formed less than twenty years before WWII, and then we were ready to join the League of Nations, and this turned into the United Nations.
The United Nations was formed after the World Wars with the purpose to keep peace throughout the world.
President Nixon in 1972 announced the United States was divided into 10 Federal Regional Councils, each controlled by an appointed bureaucrat for the stated purpose of improving coordination of the activities of all levels of government. The 10 federal regions were to be empowered to control all forms of regionalism within the United States. Regional divisions supplementing the 10 federal regions include state sub-regions, federal reserve regions, population regions, and regions to control the land, water and natural resources of America. The goal of regional or metropolitan government is to eventually merge the U.S. into the “New World Order”. . . a one-world socialist state under the United Nations.
The Bilderberg Group . . . in 1954 the most powerful men in the world met for the first time under the auspices of the Dutch royal crown and the Rockefeller family in the luxurious Hotel Bilderberg of the small Dutch town of Oosterbeck. For an entire weekend they debated the future of the world. When it was over, they decided to meet once every year to exchange ideas and analyze international affairs.
They named themselves the Bilderberg Club. Since then, they have gathered yearly in a luxurious hotel somewhere in the world arrogantly plotting the subversion and silent takeover of constitutional governments everywhere. Their goal is a World Government run exclusively by their hand-picked puppets.
Bilderberg founding member, and for 30 years a steering committee member, Denis Healey said, “To say we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair. Those of us in Bilderberg felt we couldn’t go on forever fighting one another for nothing and killing people and rendering millions homeless. So we felt that a single community throughout the world would be a good thing.”
The Trilateral Commission was formed to be an international type of the Council of Foreign Relations. Their goal is to align the free world with the advanced communist states to organize a world government. It has the globe divided into the European Region, North American Region and Pacific Asian Region. The European Region is the European Union, which comprises 27 nations now.
The groups have powerful men as members; bankers, and presidents and U.S. government high officials among them. These three groups and others work together for the same goal.
President George H. Bush explained that global government could not be achieved unless some great international public crisis motivated the population to abandon their attachment to national sovereignty. “From chaos will emerge the New World Order.”
The most powerful men of the world are involved with this NOW goal. They believe that all nations working together economically will prevent a nuclear third world war. This calls for a one-world currency. Is it surprising that all nations, including America, are struggling financially at this moment in time? Chaos in the making. Create the problem; provide the predetermined solution, to get the prearranged result.
There has always been one man who is always thinking that he should be a world leader. There will be one more man, who will take advantage of this created NOW, and fulfill the prophecies of the Bible. He comes in with intelligence and peace, and turns into the devil himself.
Battles of Israel:
The Bible speaks of several battles involving Israel in the last days. It is difficult to put these in any kind of order, but we can be sure the order will reveal itself soon.
1- Battle with Damascus and Syria. They are fighting today over who should have control of certain lands. Even President Obama has encouraged Israel to relent and go back to pre-1967 boundaries. Israel refuses for good reason. They need this land for the Temple.
2- Battle with Russia and her allies. The Bible speaks of Russia coming against Israel when she is dwelling in peace in unwalled cities. She is not at peace today. This has to be at some point when she is guaranteed peace. This peace will come at the beginning of the seven year treaty. The Bible says that God defeats Russia and her allies, and Israel will bury the dead for seven years, and burn the instruments of war for 7 months.
3- Battle with Iran. This battle could be a part of Russia’s attempt to control the land. It also could be a separate battle between Iran and Israel over Iran’s nuclear weapons that they are arguing about today.
4- Battle with the Antichrist. Daniel says in the middle of the seven year peace treaty, that the man of peace will reveal his true purpose. He will break the covenant and desecrate the temple and demand that Israel and the whole world worship him as God. Many of Israel will die, but there will be remnants that will be protected by God in the area of Petra.
At some point in the not too distant future, Israel as the powder keg of the whole world is going to explode and bring the NOW into place.
Bible scriptures for the NWO:
Daniel 7:23
23“Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it. 24‘As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings. 25‘He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. 26‘But the court will sit for judgment, and his dominion will be taken away, annihilated and destroyed forever. 27‘Then the sovereignty, the dominion and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.’
Revelation 13:1-18
1 And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. 2And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. 3I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; 4they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. 6And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. 7It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. 8All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. 9If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints. 11Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon. 12He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. 13He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. 14And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life. 15And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.
The words, ‘time, times, time and half’ of Daniel are the same of ’42 months’ on Revelation. 3 ½ years are given to the antichrist to rule over the whole world as the beast, empowered by the dragon. Anticrhrist receives his power from Satan who will be cast down to earth.
Matthew chapter 24, speaks of the end time events and mentions the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel and John.

Israel:
Right now Israel is being attacked by Syria. She is being threatened by a nuclear attack from Iran. She is surrounded by countries that are hostile toward her. They all want her wiped off the map. They all want control of Jerusalem and for Muslims to occupy the land.
Israel has pursued peace talks, but it will not give up its land, or its city, and wants the Temple rebuilt. Egypt and Jordan have agreed to recognize Israel as a nation, Egypt in 1979 under Carter, and Jordan in 1994 under Clinton. The others have failed to achieve any peace between Israel and the other neighbors. Palestine wants the land back from before the 1967 war. In doing this, Israel would be giving up control over part of the city of Jerusalem. She will not do this.
What if Israel attacks Iran to destroy their nuclear plant, before Iran can attack Israel? Does America step in to help, or stand back? Will the surrounding Arab countries jump in with Iran? What will Russia do?
Does Iran attempt this after the Rapture, during the disruption of America’s ability to focus on the Middle East? Or does she do it before the Rapture?
The Bible also speaks of Russia and many of the other Arab nations around Israel, saying that Russia will lead an alliance against Israel, but God will step in and fight for Israel, destroying Russia and her friends. When will this take place? Before the Rapture? After the Rapture? Before the Syria battle or part of the Syria battle?
Bible scholars cannot agree as to what the scenario will be, but all agree that these things will take place before the antichrist presents his own evil agenda.
If you were the antichrist, when would you make your entrance onto the stage?
Is there enough chaos yet for Bush to tell his powerful friends that it is time for the NWO?
Is America ready to surrender her freedom today? Some of our leaders sure seem bent on bringing this to pass, but the citizens are not ready for this yet.
There has to be something that will trigger the need for a peace plan above all others. All the other treaties, which have been signed by Israel and the Arabs, have not worked. The tension is escalating toward a nuclear showdown with Iran and Israel. (Iran is supplying nuclear materials to Syria and others. They all are supported by Russia)
We know that Russia and her alliance will attack Israel and will be defeated by God. Maybe it could be that Russia, who is heavily involved with Syria and Iran, will help instigate the attack on Israel and both will be defeated at the same time?
So, let’s forget about the Rapture for a moment. Also, we need to realize that there are two second comings of the Lord. The first one is for the church where we meet in the air/clouds. The second one is at the end of the tribulation when he comes back to fight the armies of the world, and ushers in a 1000 years of peace. The lion shall lay down with the lamb; the swords will be beaten into plowshares. Nothing shall hurt or destroy under His reign.
Another Scenario:
Syria attacks Israel, with weapons supplied by Iran and Russia. Israel retaliates and destroys Syria, especially Damascus. This changes the whole equation for peace in the Mideast. The world reacts with anger, demanding Israel be punished. America is put into a difficult situation. She is forced to back away from Israel. Israel finds herself alone. Terrorism escalates around the world. Iran and Russia devise a plan to attack Israel, but first they must cripple the Great Satan. Maybe it is through terrorism attacks, chemical warfare on our soil, or smuggling a ship with a nuclear bomb or missile into one of our ports. There needs to be something to take America’s attention away from the Mideast, and onto surviving as a country. We have martial law in our streets.
The antichrist steps on the scene as the man of peace with a treaty that everyone can agree to. Israel is allowed to rebuild her Temple. She thinks this is her Messiah. She lets down her guard; she is busy with the temple.
Then Iran attacks Israel together with the alliance that Russia has put together. America is crippled and is unable to help Israel or has agreed to stay out of the Middle East.
Ezekiel says that God steps in and miraculously intervenes for Israel. The Bible says that from this war, the weapons of war would burn for seven years, and that it would take seven months to bury the dead.
When God saves Israel, they turn to Him and realize they have been blind, and that this man of peace is an imposter. They turn on the antichrist and think that they have killed him. There is chaos.
Revelation chapter twelve says the devil is cast out of the heavens and down onto the earth. I believe it is at this point that he enters into the Antichrist.
The Bible says the beast comes back to life, and at that point sets an image of himself in the temple, demanding that the world worship him. That everyone takes the Mark. He is no longer a man of peace, but Satan-possessed and he is out to rule the world or destroy it if he can’t.
God raises up two witnesses according to Revelation chapter eleven. They are sealed together with 144,000 Jews to preach the gospel to the whole world. The church has failed to accomplish this commandment. The church has grown cold, and the world has shut their ears to anything that challenges their self-indulgence. Therefore, God sends the Jews to finish the task, warning people not to take the Mark.
When the antichrist comes back to life, the Muslims think that this is their Messiah and they align themselves with him. They help him enforce the Mark and his worship. There are Muslims in every country around the world and this is now their true Holy War, ridding the world from infidels.
Russia is crippled. Iran, Syria, and other allies are crippled. America is not a threat anymore.
Then China aligns the kings of the East and heads for Jerusalem. Revelation says that 1/3 of the population of the earth is destroyed in this battle. Nuclear? China is no match for Satan and his beast.
The Jews flee into Petra, a place that is prepared for them until Christ shows up at the Battle of Armageddon. This battle is at the very end of the seven years when all the armies of the world are gathered together against Christ and His people. He returns riding on a white horse with a sword proceeding from His mouth. The Word of God is referred to as a Sword that divides asunder the soul of man.
Christ will defeat with the power of His spoken Word. The Words that I speak unto you are Spirit and Life. John 6:63
He throws the antichrist and his False Prophet into the Lake of Fire. He then binds the Dragon or Satan in the bottomless pit.
He then sets up His Millennial reign of 1000 years of peace as the Prince of Peace.
After the 1000 years, He then lets Satan loose for a season to gather the nations of the world once more at Jerusalem, where God devours them with Fire from heaven. Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire.
Revelation speaks of three sets of Judgments. Seven Seals. Seven Trumpets. Seven Vials. Each is progressively worse than the previous one.
The Antichrist is able to bring a temporary peace. He has a plan that works. It involves setting in place the one-world order, the one-world church, the one-world currency. By the time Russia attacks close to the middle of the tribulation, he has it all in place. As soon as he dies and is resurrected by Satan, he has a supernatural power behind him to enforce control over the world. He has wooed the world leaders up until this point with flatteries, without force, with deceit. They are all working with him, thankful that the fighting has stopped, and Israel is happy with her Temple. Then Russia and her allies decide this is too good an opportunity to pass up, and they attack. This upsets the antichrist as much as anyone else, especially when the Jews turn on him for deceiving them.
Now he is going to use force by using the Muslims against everyone else. He makes havoc of the world. By the time the seven years are over, there is a death toll of 3.5 billion or more. The Book of Revelation says that 25% of the population is destroyed in chapter six, and then another 1/3 are destroyed in chapter nine. Together this would equal 50% or 3.5 Billion people with today’s population.
So no matter where the Rapture takes place during the seven and half years of tribulation, or even if you believe there is no Rapture, the scenarios that will unfold are going to be Hell on Earth.
Will it be 2012, 2015, 2020, or 2025? No man knows the day or the hour. There are many Birth Pangs going on around us.
Isaiah 65:17, “Behold I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.” Revelation 21:1, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?
We need to get back to where we started as a Nation. Bowing our heads, giving thanks, asking for protection, wisdom and provision. Practicing what is right and just, with an attitude of how small we are and how big God and His Universe are.
What do you feel when you stand at the ocean? Niagara Falls? Grand Canyon? The birth of a baby? Wonder and awe that makes us know there is more to us than just flesh and bones. We are spirit and have an innate desire to connect with the Creator of the beauties of the heavens and the seas and the earth, and even our bodies and minds.
Radical Islam is not going to go away. They want to create a crisis, believing that their Messiah will arrive on the scene in the midst of the chaos, and Islam will be the religion of the world and all will be forced to bow down to Allah and their twelfth Mahdi or Iman, or savior.
The wealthy elite of the world want to rule the world with a New World Order, where there will be two classes of people, the very wealthy and the very poor.
In order for all of this to come to pass, there has to be a one-world government, and one-world currency, and a one-world church. The Bible has already predicted the world system. There will be a one-world leader and there will be a one-world prophet, and there will be a one-world control over who buys and sells and what they buy and sell.
We see all of this being put into place today with our world economic crisis, the lack of trust in world and church leaders, the rich selling out the middle class, laws that allow for detainment of citizens suspected of association with terrorists, technology that tracks our every movement, to laws that could be used against us. FEMA and NSA are building and buying places for large populations of people, supposedly for the purpose of protection from a nuclear or Chemical War, but could be used for the purpose of controlling a rebellious populace who refuses to cooperate with a government who has betrayed us.
The uprisings in North Africa, the conflicts with Iran and Israel, the awakening of Russia and her allies, the tension in China and North Korea, the debt owed to China, the threat of oil supplies cut off from the middle East, Terrorist attacks; all are omens of a crisis that Radical Islam wants to happen and the wealthy elite want to encourage, for the sake of a one-world government. Isn’t it amazing that the Bible has already told us about the one-world leader?

Revelation speaks of ¼ of the Earth’s population dying in one place and in another it speaks of 1/3. This is a total of 50%. During the last seven years of Earth’s existence, there will be 3.5 Billion dying from war, famine, disease, and natural disasters.

Churches may have become money making businesses instead of soul saving stations, and Pastors may have become CEOs of multibillion Dollar companies, partaking in all of the sins of the populace, but the Bible is still the Word of God and the prophecies of its Scriptures are being fulfilled right before our eyes.
Israel and the Middle East will be the stage for the next the final World War. The fallout will change the world as we know it, bringing horrible suffering and a Ruler from Hell itself.
It is time to pray for our self, our children, asking for forgiveness and protection and mercy to escape the wrath of the Great Tribulation.
II Chronicles 7:14 says, “and My people [a]who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Psalm 9:17 says, “the nations that forget God shall be turned into Hell.”
Father, I pray that you will forgive me, my children, and this nation, and this world of their pride and selfishness. We have walked in our own ways, seeking our own will, pleasing our own selves, immersed in the pleasures and trappings of this world, and have forgotten to obey your commandments, and to give you thanks for our blessings. We do not ask for your protection from danger and harm, and we do not ask for your mercy and forgiveness. We are self-sufficient and have need of nothing. We have made our own way accumulating our own material possessions, and taken credit for our skills and intelligence. We have broken all of your commandments, while looking at those around us and judging them worse than our self, thus justifying our sinful behavior. We have swallowed the lies of Hollywood and the Media into thinking that you are not real and that your Word is a bunch of stories with no meaning for us today. We call right wrong, and wrong right, and have hardened our conscious to the point that nothing shocks us anymore, and we never feel remorse or quilt over anything we do wrong, in word or in deed.
Father open my eyes and the eyes of my loved ones, and help us to see your hand in this evil world, and convict us anew and afresh of our sinful ways that displease you. Forgive us and cover our sins in the Blood of Christ, and help us to give thanks for our daily bread, and to ask for your protection and deliverance from the evil one and his world system of darkness. Help us to be humble and obedient and to be ready for your second coming, and somehow to be wise enough not to accept the Antichrist as our ruler. You are the only true God and you have manifested your love and ways in Jesus Christ. Help us to take His Words to heart and change our ways to be more pleasing
